Ok well apparently im unsure if they are being serious or not but my mum can see what ive been up two on the computer (my one) by checking the net work or something its kind of worrying if she can really do this and I was just wondering is there anyway to get around it.

You could use a proxy that way it blocks you're IP and doesn't record it on history. You could also download Ccleaner that also removes history and other unneeded files.

Well if she does look at your internet history, its like someone looking in your diary. Hopefully my parents don't look at my internet history, as that would be a violation of my privacy.
So, does just deleting the internet history completely get rid of it?

even if you erase local data, they could easily fetch data from the DNS (if there's a local gateway on your network, it can store that data too).... the best way around this is to use stuff like a simple proxy, or a more complex VPN connection to protect yourself (I use HotSpot Shield to protect my data when using a free hotspot)... that way what you do online can only be tracked by the proxy or VPN provider, and your mom can't simply ask them for that data lol

I have the same problem. I want to tell her it would be a violation of my privacy but she would say that she has the right to know EVERYTHING. if she found out about this forum, or my dad, this place would be blocked.

and they don't even understand what a forum IS
