In an effort to make myself less close-minded I am requesting that you suggest some of your best music for me. Something new for me to try out. I swear to God though if you say Justin Bieber I'll claw your eyes out.

Metric is a pretty.... hidden band, I think, but their stuff is great. (At least I think so! :P)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYLjHhSOE7s - Cold Guns Girls
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4TZ3rDuaOc - Front Row
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIOA8ERd_Jc&feature=related - Satellite Mind

They don't have a ton of stuff but they have some good ones.

Try Muse if you haven't already too. Best band ever.

in all honesty, Rise Against isn't mainstream. They have 3 singles off there new album. A lot of people forget there earlier work. Muse is also mainstream too, but people rarely know of anything besides there singles.
