This movie is so amazing! It's an 80's movie starring Bob Geldof. The music (that of Pink Floyd) and the animation is astounding. Anyone seen it?

Trippy ass movie. More of the art variety, but still good. The scene of "Comfortably Numb" has given me nightmares along with "What Shall We Do Now?".

I recorded it on VHS and I watch it all the time. I need to get it on DVD, though, because the tape is getting messed up from being played so much. Lol. Murdoc, I think you're thinking of "Empty Spaces" instead of "What Shall We Do Now?". But yeah, I like the scene where One Of My Turns plays. And the Comfortably Numb scene is very trippy.

My favorite scene is when he's on the floor making a city out of a bunch of trash after destroying his apartment. I'm sure that "Is There Anybody Out There?" was playing during that scene. Then "Waiting For The Worms" scene was very inspirational to me when he's marching down the town and the hammer animation starts moving in.
Not my favorite Pink Floyd album, but the movie is a work of art. Literally.

My favorite album is either The Division Bell or The Wall.

I think you're thinking of "Empty Spaces" instead of "What Shall We Do Now?".

"Empty Spaces" and "What Shall We Do Now?" were originally recorded during the sessions for the "Animals" album. They couldn't find any space to put them on the record, so they scraped them and left them on the floor until the next album. They (and "they" as in "Roger") decided to put "Empty Spaces" on "The Wall" instead of "WSWDN?". However, not many people know that BOTH "Empty Spaces" and "WSWDN?" were played side by side during the tour of "The Wall". The same combination was used for "The Wall" movie. It's all easy to know when you're an absolute die hard and have your sources :P
