Hey all. I'm new to this forum, but not to the world of creative writing. This is a poem entitled Glacial. I wrote it about two weeks ago. I'd appreciate thoughts!
Glacial
A ship, a heart--abandoned maid
A lover gone, a blizzard bade;
There standing with white shoulders bare
Awaiting sails in frigid prayer.
Eyelashes--ice in Arctic winds
The ice caps dive, and bob again
The flurries blow, I stand in snow
My darling, I won't let you go.
Glacial
A ship, a heart--abandoned maid
A lover gone, a blizzard bade;
There standing with white shoulders bare
Awaiting sails in frigid prayer.
Eyelashes--ice in Arctic winds
The ice caps dive, and bob again
The flurries blow, I stand in snow
My darling, I won't let you go.
