I think my laptop has crashed.

I opened it up, and a blue screen came up. It restarted and a black screen came up. It said "Boot disk not found. Please insert a boot disk and press any key'.

What does this mean?

Sounds like your hard drive stopped working. But, there's no way to know for sure without actually being there.

Is it making any unusual noise, such as clicking? (Or did it make the noise before it stopped working?)

It means your OS has either been erased from your hard drive or your hard drive has been corrupted and can't locate the files. Either way, your computer is fucked.

Yes, it was making a clicking noise. Shipping it off today to be repaired.
