What movie comes to mind when I say extreme violence, dirty language used so often it would make a sailor blush(world record for the most F-words in a movie), memorable dialogue, a complex and layered plot of a modern day mob movie set in 1990's Los Angeles, and the winner of the Palm D'or (Best Picture award) at the Cannes Film Festival in 1994? Well that film can be the one, the only.....PULP FICTION

"Pulp Fiction", directed by Quentin Tarantino, is now one of the greatest films of the past twenty-five years in cinema. Not only did it attract crowds that are now part of the cult following of the film, but it got high critical praise from critics all over the United States.

Tarantino was forever established as one of the greatest filmmakers after the success of this film. By now he has gotten much more attention with the release of five films since then. His salute to "blaxploitation" films "Jackie Brown", his samurai sword saga of revenge "Kill Bill" (Part 1 and 2), THE ultimate 70's exploitation film "Death-proof", and finally his WWII epic "Inglourious Basterds".

All have changed the way films are made to this day with his casual use of violence, foul language, recurring trademarks in film, references to pop culture, incredible soundtrack, and the ironic mix of violence.

Pulp has made us quote lines like
"Say 'what' one more mother****ing time, I dare you mother******!!"

and order our steaks "bloody as hell"

and made us willing to dance to Chuck Berry in the middle of a restaurant

and made us have burgers for breakfast

and made us question the value of a $5 milkshake.

Now that I've just showed you what I thought of this film, I want to know what YOU thought of it. Did you love it like I did? Was it too strong for your taste? Feel free to share you're reviews. Thanks for reading!
