I have a laptop but it doesn't have a CD drive. I was wondering if it was possible to connect it to my PC (either by cable or wireless) so that I can have use of the CD drive on my PC, but use the screen of my laptop. Kinda like having two screens but one tower. I know that you can have dual screens because I use them at work, but I just wanted to know how to do it. Both the PC and the laptop are HP if that makes any difference.

I don't think there's a way to hook up the laptop's screen to the Desktop..
And I don't think there's any way you can use the CD-Rom drive on the PC in conjunction with the laptop.
What do you need the CD-Rom drive for?

You need to network the two machines then you can share the CD drive. If you dont have a homenetwork then you need to get a crossover cable.

If you're buying a Usb disk drive thing. Be very careful which type you get, read reviews and ask people. I bought a dodgy one that broke after one use.
