April 12th 2010.

It may not be of any significance to you.
It probably isn't.
But for me it is.
I got rid of all my blades that day.
I sent them to a place I could never get them again, and I have proof of that too.
I disposed of them in a hospital sanitary bin.
When I dropped them in.
I felt.
Free.
Like a weight was lifted.
And now.
Now that it's a month on.
That feeling has multiplied.
I no longer turn to my blades for comfort and to take the pain away.
And if I can do it, you, people of VT, can do it too.
I promise you that once you do, it'll feel so good.
It will be hard but I promise you it'll be well worth it.

So Wednesday, May 12th 2010, was one month without any blades.
Me and my best friend together did this. <3
So one month and two days on, the liberation continues.

Congratulations it has to feel good to finally rid yourself of a burden like that. I still remember how it felt when I quit. It was hard, but once I knew I was through and I kept on track I knew I could continue. Keep it up man i know you can do it. Don't let anything stop you from continuing with this. I have confidence

Good job man. I did something similar a couple weeks ago, the difference was I made the mistake of throwing them in a fountain. After a sleepless night, I got out of my bed and sprinted over to the fountain and got them all back, lol. :(

Congratulations on having the courage to get rid of all your blades, I'm sure it was hard but as you said you felt free after!

Keep it up and soon a year will have passed!

Well done, what you did was amazing, and i've done this in the past. Although it didn't work for me, I am glad it worked for you, and I hope you continue to stay strong, for your own sakes and everyone elses. What you've done and this post will probably give alot of cutters that hope that it is possible to move on.
Congratulations again :)

 look, you can do it again. Find some other way of controlling your urges! I thought the second I threw them away I'd get them back. But if you try hard enough you will over come this. I know it. And when you do, it'll be amazing.

That goes for all of you!
