Surely not my best, I just typed it up as it came.
I haven't written anything in awhile so I figured "Why not wing it?"
4 minutes to make.
Looking into all their faces
with fire in her eyes.
She fists her hands tight against
each one of her sides.
A shaky breath escapes
through flared nostrils unto
another thriftless airway
filled with hatred of you.
They all peer back at her
and quickly glace aside
because all the built up anger
is no longer left to hide.
Her silent screams
and held back glares
are keeping at bay
those pitiful stares.
Over time she storms away
until one dares to stand
right in her path,
taking her hand.
Her face contorts to pain
and she quickly looks away
all those screams evaporate
and there's nothing more to say.
He took her in his arms
and held her oh, so tight.
He knew what was to come
if he let her go that night.
She's a Black Angel,
lost in the crowd of shame.
All her smiles left
as soon as the storm came.
A single tear leaks
onto her flushed, pale skin.
With a glittery shine,
it tells a story from within.
She's not angry,
she's in agony.
A fallen angel,
down on her knee.
She stood on shaky feet
with her weight to much to bare,
so he held on tight, secure.
Forever. Always there.
