I do 100 pull up's sometimes if I feel really energetic 120. I really like the exercise. Helps build your abs and arms strength.

I do like 3x20-25 every other day. Start with 1-2 every other day then build up every other week. You will get there!!!

if you think regular pullups are bad try doing Latissimus muscle pullups, with the bar going to the back of your head rather than in front.

pull-up is an exercise that many people (even professionals) avoid because it is just hard. Pull up requires you to raise your entire bodyweight, which is extremely hard for someone who has not done it before.

I can barely do one.
During gym this year the guys decided to go first and they were jacking them off like they were nothing. Then I went.
I was pulling myself up and started laughing, Got all the way up, and dropped back down. Then bowed and said "Thank you, Thank you." :D
Everyone clapped and my coach said "Very nice. Very nice."
I can't do them, but I guess it's the way you do them to appear less embarrassed :P

I am exercise lover and at the same time body building is my passion. So basically I can do 100 pull ups at once but after that my Bi-shapes are like 4-5 inch more than the real size.

Erm... I don't mean to offend or anything like that, but 100 doesn't sound real. That's close to the world record.

Yes, suffice it to say it is extremely, extremely unlikely that poster is actually capable of 100 bodyweight pullups without rest.

For me, it depends on bodyweight. When my arms and back are fresh I do about 12-15 pullups in a set max.

if you think regular pullups are bad try doing Latissimus muscle pullups, with the bar going to the back of your head rather than in front.

A very nice & easy way to injure your shoulders & neck.

aka don't do them unless you already knew about them and the risks involved.

+ there's better ways to do challenging pull ups.

Meh I can do maybe 10 or so, but it's rare that I do them anyways..

he more than likely did a few reps of the exercise, because if you are a regular gymer you could do more or less 100 in around 3 reps

it's not really that bad. To injure your neck whilst doing them, you'd have to be going at a considerable speed which would mean having already trained with the exercise numerous times (and not to mention that you would be doing the exercise rather carelessly) since it is a hard adjustment compared to regular pullups... it sounds more awkward than it is:)

I have to do them almost every day.

The most I've done before I just had to let go was 48. But I'm not going to do that again.
Otherwise, I've got to do them.

I did football for five years, up to my softmore year, that is when my bisexuality started to overtake my thoughts and I could no longer take the showers or the locker room. At that point I could probably do 25 or 30.

After I quit athletics, I stopped weight lifting, and although my metabolism keeps me nice and slim, it makes it imposable to keep muscle if I am not working it out. I am finally back in the gym and can do 4 or 5.
