This is just a suggestion I would like to put out there.
Could a system be put in place that automaticaly notifies you of who is adding/reducing your Rep? I think it would help greatly and would cause less confusion with people trying to find out who commented what and repped whom.

It is said that people abused the system when it automatically left who rep'd/derep'd you. So, I don't think it'd be reinstated.

There has been many threads about this that I remember.. And most of them have been turned into a debate..

I doubt it will ever come back.

There have been other threads on this ill try and look up but basically it leads to tit for tat rep, like repping someone because they repped you and the system gets abused.

For the sake of revenge repping, I personally think that it's a good thing that VT no longer automatically tells you who repped you. A lot of people take rep seriously, so obviously if they get beg repped, they could be led to neg rep out of spite.
So yeah, I don't see any good of this feature coming back.

Different places different rules. Don't worry, once you're used to it, it'll all be like second nature. =]

General courtesy is that the user leaves their name within their comment...I always do, even if its negative rep.

But I doubt that the names will return
