You'll find yours aren't black but dark brown.
Most blondes will hvr darker hairs, red heads have red tinted hairs, blacks have black and browns are brown. The hair on your head forms differently to the hair on other parts of your body.

As far as i know, pubes' color doesn't depend on the color of all other body hair.

You can usually tell by the eye brow colour.

I've got ginger hair and blonde'ish eyebrows and my pubes are kinda lighter than my hair colour and closer to my eyebrow hair colour.

I would say that when I seen my red-headed friends pubes (not by my choice :P) they were red.. But that dosen't mean that all red-heads are.
