So, let me get this straight. You're asking for someone to draw the cover for your book, right? :)

yes, pretty much. It doesn't have to be too elaborate or anything, as long as it has color, and fits the theme...

Hmm.... What are the main characters like? Personality, appearance, etc.? :) Also, is there a specific drawing style you would prefer?

How would you give the person credit for their artwork?

Hmm... The person who made the cover could easily sign it, thus giving themself credit for their own work? ... ... Just a thought? :)

Possiably, but that's very easy to edit out, and then take credit for the artwork.

This just doesn't seem like the best way to go about making a book cover.

Hmmm.... I can see what you mean.... .... But, if the picture is completely full-colour with a background that isn't easily changed, then the signature can't be modified without a lot of difficulty.... Idk...

You'd be surprised. I've removed text with Microsoft PAINT before. It's not that hard, just a bit time consuming.

Authors don't get to choose the cover for their books. Assuming it gets published.

~Jenelle The main character is a blonde woman, blue eyes.
2nd to her is a man named....I forgot his name... short, anime-type hair, brown eyes...
I don't really care too much as to what color scheme you use, or drawing style... just about anything goes.

How would you give the person credit for their artwork?

uh... I'll put something in the credits that says
( Cover art by: Jenelle last-name)

I'm aware that the text could be removed fairly easily through cropping the picture, etc. [Many other ways to do it...] but, I was talking about removing it and replacing the signature, it's very difficult to do properly without looking like the picture was edited. For instance, if there was a photograph of a tree, and someone wrote their signature across the leaves, and you wanted to remove it so that it looked like the original picture, it would be really time consuming, because you would have to replicate certain parts of the picture properly.

P.S. Lol, I was just trying to explain what I meant...

no, I'm in the PROCESS of writing it...idiot... And i haven't come to the point when the two main characters meet so it's unnessesary.

Oh boy.
First of all, you weren't very clear in anything you've said so far, so no need to call me an idiot. If you had decent writing skills, you would have known to plan out every bit of the book, and have it all done in advance. The very bare minimum is names. Also, Romantic comedies suck.

Why would anyone want to create a cover for a book that probably sucks, that isn't even finished, for an author that is a total dick, and can't even spell 'unnecessary' correctly, or use proper capitalization skills?

Woah guys, Knock it off!
I am getting an art tablet within this month so I might be able to do a bit for you, it depends how serious you are about getting this book published etc.

.... No offense to everyone here, but I think this is getting a little too dramatic for my liking... *Loss of interest* ... So, yeah, I think I'm gonna stop posting in this thread...
