In 9:00 in the morning eastern time in NYC there was a gas explosion in a 4-story building. THere was one man who lives and works in the building that was found in the basement. Later it was found out that he was trying to kill himself over a divorce battle with his wife. He was the only person in the building, but patients were supposed to arrive soon after the explosion. No one has died so far but 7 people are in critical condition, including the the man that tried the attempt. Other people who were injured include: people walking on sidewalk, firefighters and neighboring building tenants. Neighboring building recieved minor damages. No other information has been received other than the man was trying to attempt suicide.
