Don't worry, I was exactly the same. I knew how to use them and such but I thought that there was no way I'd use them. I was pretty scared to think that I had to put this thing actually INSIDE me but once I used them a few time I was fine.
If you insert it properly, you shouldn't be able to feel it at all.
The most important thing to remember when using tampons is to make sure that your hands are clean. The last thing you want is some kind of infection XP For me, the easiest way to insert one is sitting on the toilet. But different women do it differently - some squat down, others put one leg on the side of the bath/toilet. Try a few different ways then make a decision :)
You have to put it in your vagina. Don't be worried that it might be going in the wrong place because it's way too big to fit in your urethra (where you pee) and I'm sure you can tell the difference between a vagina and your "back passage".
They really only go in one way. If when you put it in, point it a bit toward your back and then it will naturally follow it's own path.
My advice is to not have long fingernails when you use them, but if you do, make sure that they don't have sharp edges or dirt underneath them. It's probably easiest to use your middle finger to push it in. Once it's unwrapped (just throw the clear plastic in the bin), try not to over-touch it because it can become contaminated with oils etc. on your hands. Hold it with you thumb and middle finger and when you put it in, you actually have to put your whole finger in after it to make sure that it goes in far enough for it not to fall out. Still wear a pad or something with it, just in case. Hope that helps! :D

i'm a virgin and mine work just fine..

just dont push it up too far. i'd practice with a few tampons and just be like so hey how far do i have to be in so the tampon is in but not too far. you should be able to see the end of the papery tissue stuff, and you should definitely be able to see ALL of the string. :) hope i help.

p.s. ...... go pee before you do it, because having the urge to pee while putting a tampon in is highly uncomfortable haha

i'm a virgin and i use tampons. they do hurt putting them in, but once they are in far enough they are fine. if you don't put it in far enough you will feel it... until you take it out, however its not going to leak if youfeel it.. make sure you see string.. the hard shell you just throw away.

I wear them. You just gotta get the sizes right. They have slender ones, regulars, or what I like to call Jumbo Sticks. Haha. But I like them. They're a lot more sanitary, I think.

Im a Virgin and i use them.
It doesnt hurt at all Just make sure they are in properly and it will be fine.
You dont even know that its there.
I find the best way to do it is by squatting, and putting it in at an angle.

Good Luck xx

I use tampax regular- in yellow wrappers. Generally cardboard applicators are much easier for me. I can't stand pads so tampax is my best friend. I find it very easy, but most of my friends think it's difficult and gross; depends on the girl... Good luck xoxo

1. Are they Comterble?
2. How do you use them?
3. Where do you put them at?
4, And what do you do with the hard shell that covers the cotton?

Also to answer your questions:
1. As for comfort, it all depends on the girl...
2. You insert them into your vagina henceforth absorbing your period from the inside... But to insert a tampon you would push in the first joint and hold on to the very end of the larger part. You then push in the second part and pull out the entire applicator. The tampon should be comfy, but pull it out if not,
3. Well, this also depends on the girl. With me I angle it slightly backward, but everyones different.
4. As for the hard shell, you just throw it out.

I only wear tampons when I'm doing something spot-related, or doing something that requires me to move around a lot. I usually wear pads though, cause it works for me.

You can't even feel them if you insert it correctly.
You put the thicker part into your vagina and push the small tube at the bottom into the big one, in turn, pushing it into your vagina.
When your done with the applicator, ("the hard shell") you throw it away in the trash. And never, ever flush a tampon (used or not) down the toilet, it can clog it up.

I don't like them. I'll wear them if I'm planning on swimming or riding my horse, but I definitely prefer pads.

I dont like them. I prefer Pads because I can change a pad faster then I can change a tampon

For me, tampons are very comfortable. The way I put it in is by first finding a comfortable position. Usually, I will bend my knees so I'm leaning towards the ground. After opening the tampon and getting it ready, I use my pointer finger and slide the inner tube all the way into the outer tube until both ends are even. Then i just pull out both tubes, leaving the tampon inside my vagina with the string close for easy removal. When I insert the tampon in, I feel good down there and also have a feeling that i gotta go pee but that's cuz my vagina is very sensitive.

Are they Comterble?
I think tay are, im a virgin and they dont hurt me when I put them in.
How do you use them?
Take a good position so you can slide the tip in while you use your pointer finger to keep the tube in its place. Then slide the inner tube into the other so the tampon will be inserted when both the tubes line up, pull it out and the tampon is inside you. Mind to keep the string out for easy removal.
Where do you put them at?
Your vagina, it wil slide in the good place after you practice it once or twice.
And what do you do with the hard shell that covers the cotton?
Just throw it in the trashcan.
