It's sometimes a bit humiliating to have a girl beat you over and over in xbox but I enjoy when girls play video games because there's a feminine experience which is rather uncommon. In terms of whether I will like the girl, it is meaningless on that.

I don't play a lot of video games so for me it doesn't really make a difference whether she plays or not. It's just kinda one of those things that makes a girl even cooler. When I played Gears of war 1 and 2. I met two women in their twenties who played Gears of war they where really cool and they are still my friends.
To guys who play video games girls who play video games are really cool, more interesting, and yes it is a turn on... for me at least. Only play games if you want to not because you think you have too.

We think it is awesome! We always love to have girls playing video games. Be it Xbox, Ps3 or PC. Especially if you go on to some Lan-Cafe and vs. the girls or just mix and match teams.

Heh, this whole discussion strikes me as odd just because of the way I game

I play World of Warcraft and the realm I'm on has a 50/50 population of males and females, partially because it's a roleplaying realm (females seem more attracted to them seeing as they're more apt to be creative than guys).

So basically every other person I meet is female.

The guild I run is dominated by females. 0_o

There are some females that are pretty good, some which are on par with most of the males I've met. That said, all the people who are like, absolutely pro at the game are males except for one female player who stands out in my mind.

Females also have this tendency to suck and be clueless more than male players, though there are those males that suck too.

So for me, female gamers aren't abnormal, and for the most part they're just... there, kind of. They're people I play with, no big deal, they're just another person.
