So, there's this girl. (I am male) Her and I are quite good friends, and have been for 2 years or so. Since December, I started to like her. In February, I told her.

She said it was really cute, and thought it was the awesomest thing ever :)
We have been even better friends since. She is in all of my classes and in gym we go on walks if we are allowed. It's just so awesome, I don't know how to describe it. However, 2 weeks ago she got into a relationship with this other guy. And now she is being even nicer to me. And it sorta makes me like her more. But we are still super good friends. I feel like I am ranting so I'll stop.

Anyone in the same situation or have any stories of their own? Or any advice on what I should do would be great to :) . I'm kinda stuck.

Well, if your intentions are to go out with her, then that's out of the question at this time. If she's already in a relationship, just let her be happy.

The only thing you have to do is stay friends with her, you guys sound like you have an extremely strong relationship. But don't wait up on her if you want to go out with someone else. But like I said, make sure to stay friends with her.

I'm not sure exactly what sort of relationship you feel you had or have with her. You make her sound like a girlfriend, did she see it that way? If so then it sounds as if she is kind of openly 2-timing and wanting it both ways. That's not really on, so unless you are cool with it you should tell her she needs to choose. Of course you can only do that if you are prepared for the fact that she may choose the other guy - but that's life.

If you were only good friends, not bf/gf, then you have to respect her right to have a boyfriend. If you were hoping that your friendship would turn into that then for the moment you will have to put it on hold.

We are just close friends. And I am okay with her having a boyfriend, because she is even more happy than before. And I really like seeing her smile and laugh. It makes me smile. Thanks for all your guys' feedback!

I'm KINDA going through somethign similar. I used to think I liked this girl in my class (also a friend of mine), I was never really sure if I liked her or if i was just confused or whatever. But I had been with he rin some tough times....she recently got a bf and I kinda feel weird when I see them together, or hear people talk about them or see stuff about their relationship on facebook. but of ocurse, she is my friend and I just want her to be happy..............
