Break up

I want to break up with my girlfriend. Things were rushed, I lost my interest that had sparked when we started dating, and we aren't really on the same maturity level. How do I nicely say I want to be out of a relationship? I know It'lhurt her feelings, I've never done this before :(

First off, don`t throw breakup at her. Calmly tell her that you don`t think that you are connecting very well anymore. Whatever you do, don`t break down with emotion, because that will ruin mature conversation. For all you know, she feels the same way so it would be mutual. Breakups aren`t easy at all.

Be slow with it. make sure to let her down easilly. you dont want to give her too big a shock. Dont throw around any bad language and say anything bad to her. Make sure she knows the reasons as well, as that can really help. Also make sure that you trully want to break up with her first or you prob wont get her back.

Exactly. You can't say "We aren't going out anymore, get the hell out." Just tell her "I really like you but I just don't think we are working out anymore, please understand that you didn't do anything wrong." Break-ups are hard on both involved, but it helps to be supportive and polite.

Also make sure that you trully want to break up with her first or you prob wont get her back.

I agree with this as well. Assure yourself of the reasons that you believe you no longer want to go out before you break up. If you find feeling for her after you break up, it's too late. It's wrong to get back together with an ex, and also very unlikely.
