Hello i am actually due for an upgrade soon on my AT&T plan so does anyone have some suggestions for phones (that are from AT&T's website)? Right now i am using an HTC Tilt and i really like it, and the tilt 2 is out im pretty sure i want that. I really like windows mobile phones and i definitely do not want an iPhone. Maybe a motorola backflip. So if you have AT&T what phone do you have/ do you recommend?

If you're looking for a pretty decent phone, then I guess you could try getting the xenon. I don't really have any issues with it other than the touch screen is kind-of messed up in certain areas and it tends to turn off every now and then by itself. Most AT&T phones do that to me though. /:
My friend has the Impact (http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phone-details/?device=Pantech+Impact+(TM)+-+Blue&q_sku=sku4160291), and she seems to like it. But it doesn't really look like the 'best' phone out there that you could probably get, nor does it seem like something that could be a good phone in the long run (at least in my opinion.)
If you have 200 dollars to waste, you could so totally go for the eXpo (http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phone-details/?device=LG+eXpo+(TM)+-+Silver&q_sku=sku4220493) though! :P Were you looking for more of a touchscreen phone, or something that had a little more memory/anything else specific?

If you can hold out 'till the end of the year with your current phone, you can wait for the release of Windows Phone 7 Series. (The new Windows Phone OS)
Looks damn sexy, and I know I'm going to wait for it. (Currently have WM 6.1)

The htc tilt 2 has a lot and I mean a lot of bad reviews and the backflip also has bad reviews too. My friend upgraded to the backflip three weeks ago. At first he loved it and now he regrets getting it. The backflip totaly destroys the android software and the backflip is a joke to android software. AT&T put a lot of limitations on the phone. I'm not an AT&T customer bit I have tried the xenon and that was a great phone. Lg always makes great phones. If you were on verizon I would say get the htc incredible. That's going to probably be my next phone. It kicks iPhones ass in so many ways. If you want a great review of phones from AT&T, PhoneDog on YouTube does kick ass reviews of phones from all carriers. He helped me choose the current phone I have. Haha. And a great decision I made too.

I have the LG Shine (I don't know if they still sell it but they probably do). It's a decent phone but I wouldn't get it again. The main reason I got it was because it had a flash for the camera but all the flash does is make half the picture extremely light and the other half normal. Also the battery life sucks so bad. I've had to charge it every day or two since i got it. Doesn't totally answer the question but it does narrow the choices.

If you are going to spend $200 on a new phone for AT&T, get the Iphone. Plain and simple, it's the best phone on AT&T right now.

If you're getting a smartphone for the first time you will have to pay extra per month, no matter the phone.

While yes, smartphone plans do generally run more expensive than regular phone plans, they're still not as expensive as the iPhone plan.

Ah, I myself am an ex-tilt user. It was a good phone, just wish it had a faster processor. If you want an upgrade that is easy to figure out, i recommend the tilt 2, any blackberry (little trickier, but being a WM user, it wont be too hard to figure out, however its very different from WM), or the iPhone, just as good and very user friendly.
