How many rep points do you need to get to rep power 3 then to rep power 4 etc.

Every fifty rep points raise it or being here for a certain amount of time, but that doesn't make more bars.

That's interesting to know. So what makes more bars?

Also, to add onto Jake's point, every 1,000 posts raises you up 1 more rep level

Karl, I think it's the amount of different people that rep you.

i sort of understand th whole rep system but barely... every ceertain number of people that rep you it brings it up or down. and well as someeon said above 1000 posts raises you, however i don't know how much liek if i gave someone a postivie rep how many rep points they need to get it up a bar...

As people rep you, your bars go up. The more bars you get, the more rep power you need for a new bar. Like for me to get a new bar, I've had two light green bars since 19 rep power, so it takes three from my observations to get it to three green bars. Do you get what I'm saying?

Rep bars should be 100 for each dark green dot, and 200 for each light green dot. Rep power is usually a combination of rep points, post count, and time elapsed since join date - although the specific 'formula' can vary. I'm not too sure what it is for this site; perhaps an admin can enlighten us all?

I know that it's every 1000 posts and every 6 months (I'm not too sure...).
That's all, I think...
