I'm sure many of you now have these charity wristbands, but are they now more geared towards fashion than charity??

here is a good comparison:

if your band is $1 with not tax what so ever, it goes to cancer help

if your band is $1.99-$2.99 with tax added later it goes in some jackasses pocket

Well i dont wear them as ive never seen them in any shops, if i did i might buy one and never wear it just to give to charity. I do wear those other wristbands though the 'shag band' ones. I believe the livestrong bands have become a fashion item. People wear them to fit in, but who cares if its getting money to charity.

i have my yelllow one (livestrong), a black one (marie keating foundation [irish charity]), and then a red one which is a fake (it says respect), that is ment to be for childline.

really if you think of it like this:
you might not support a charity, but when you buy something that is a fashion item, then you are still helping. so wat if you care, your still helping

I hate the fake ones! All these pricks are bringin them in from Shanghai and sellin them in stalls on Queen Street (the main shopping street where I live).

IT DOESNT MATTER CAUSE ITS STILL GOING TO CANCER. ALTHOUGH NOW OTHER PLACES ARE MAKING THEM. IF THERE NOT YELLOW AND SAY LIVESTRONG. CHANCES ARE THERE NOT GOING TO CANCER.
