Sometimes I wish I would die...not suicide, but just dying somehow..

I guess in a round about way we all at some point in our life wish that we weren't around anymore, that we could disappear, or just vanish from the situations which we're eloquently placed in. As you said, not necessarily suicide (or even dying in some peoples eyes), but just removing ourselves from where we're at in the given moment. I wish I knew what else was going through your mind so I could help a tad bit, but I don't know all too much besides this topic and post. I will say this: When life gets rough, we have outlets. We don't always need to resort to a thought of dying or something complimentary, and there is always a way out of things. Even if what we're facing is a tad bit difficult, there will always be someone there to help you through difficult situations if you can't find it in yourself to pull through.

Lets face it, Life gets rough. Things happen which put a huge amount of stress on our back, but somehow we always tend to make it through right? Maybe not today or tomorrow, but eventually we're able to help ourselves out.

Eh, if you wanna talk, I'm here. (:

:hug3: I know what you mean. Honestly, I would trade death for life any day, but it hasn't come to me yet, so I'm still here.

Meanwhile, since we are alive, we might as well put some effort into living; try to make the most of the experience. Sure, life might seem pointless and excruciatingly long, but it really isn't - after we have finished living out a natural lifespan of some decades, we still have an eternity's worth of time to be dead - there's no rush at all to get there.

Life is worth living, because it is ever-changing, and there is always something new to see, to learn, to understand - and that is what matters. Someone once said, "Death is freedom. Life is a lesson." - our experiences of life may be for better or for worse, but it is all a part of the learning process that we are here to undertake. And a very important part of this 'lesson', is learning how to prevail in times when the idea of forfeiting seems unnaturally attractive, so that the journey may be continued onto its intended destination.

Why are you feeling this way, is there anything you would want to talk about in greater detail?

Shit, I wish I could disappear right now.

Being a teenager really fucking sucks and everyone here will tell you that... but it's also pretty awesome. It's a time of learning, of exploration, and of happiness. I spent most of adolescence wishing I would disappear, and I wasted it. There are so many things I didn't do during my teen years that I wish I did. Over the course of my Freshman year in college, which is coming to a close tomorrow, so many kids had stories that I just did not have because I spent all my teen years moping about how much my teen years sucked instead of doing something to make it better.

I know what you're saying, and I can say I've been there. Please talk to somebody before the feelings get any worse. If you want to talk to me, I'm always here. Life's rough, but nothing is worse than going to your best friend's funeral...trust me on that one. Positive mental attitude.

Thanks guys :)..I won't die...yet :P

and @peaceloverugby-I don't have a best friend, and most people would go just cause they pretended to be my friends, even though I hate them

Albert, I guess we nearly all feel like that sometimes. If it reaches a stage where you feel like that a lot of the time then you should think about getting some councelling. You're a great guy though and I for one hope you have many years of happy life to come yet.

Well the years will come, I don't know if they are going to be happy..at times I hate optimism..sometimes I love it though

I just think of it this way, whether or not the future is a 'happy' one is irrelevant, what's important is that one never stops living, learning, and trying for the best. It's not the end result that matters, it's the journey, and most of all, the intent of the journey.
