Foreskin still covers head

When I have an erection, my foreskin still covers the head. I can pull the foreskin down, but it is slightly uncomfortable.

Am I right in saying, that when most guys have an erection, the foreskin automatically uncovers the head?

Any ideas about why my foreskin still covers my head, and is there any way to stop this?

Well everyones foreskin is different, so not all peoples will do what everyone else's will.
It sounds to me like you just have a tight foreskin, it's simple to sort out. Just try stretching it slightly every day, maybe in or after a shower/bath when everything is loose anyway. If you can then try masturbating with the foreskin retracted - that helped me.

nope there is nothing wrong with you ;)

I guess some guys have naturally a forskin that's a little longer, so when ur erect it doesn't retract. I was exactly like you (but now I'm cut)

Well I dont know any statistics on this, but that's not true for a hell of a lot of guys, its perfectly normal for the foreskin not to automatically retract. Its probably normal either way, some guys will retract automatically and others wont. Mine doesnt.

On the second part of your question you should be able to pull your foreskin back without difficulty or discomfort, thats important for when using a condom. If its a bit tight for you check with your doctor, he will advise you on stretching exercises and may also prescribe a steroid cream which can help.

It is normal, some people's foreskin goes all the way down, some only to the half, and some not at all. It's okay as long as you can pull it on your own without feeling any pain.
