games like halo or cod

Are there any games out there like cod or halo? I tried Battlefield bad company but it wasn't really my thing. I'm currently waiting for Halo reach and medal of honor to come out in the fall.

Tom Clancy games are amazing, ghost recon or Rainbow Six are all extremely good tactical gameplays,

There is operation flashpoint aswell but it can get frustrating for its realism, you actually will die from 2 bullets

flashpoint annoys the bag outta me, to realistic graphics are kinda shitty. ghost recon was annoying to me since you couldn't actually see the gun, rainbow six vegas was quite good, but you need to command your squad...

AVP (alien vs predator) has quite has quite a detailed and entertaining, horror servival style first person to it and the same would go to F.E.A.R 2. i'm guessing you have a 360 so you could try left 4 dead 2, a survival zombie game... or that new one Metro 2033, survival horror (i think) and you have to conserve munitions etc sounds good,
Lost Planet 2 is coming out soon (although i can't review it for you atm) Borderlands is a very detailed shooter with literally thousands of guns with a level up system similar to an RPG.
And my all time favourite Fallout 3 an FPS RPG set in a post apocaliptic world of Washington DC, (best game i've ever played) survival skills with ammo conservations and all that jazz with a free roaming ruined city, definitly worth a try.

Not if you have a handy dandy medic on your side. :P

Anyway, go with Rainbow Six games, since you obviously like arena type games and not fun, big games... Anyway, Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2 are very good games, never played the others, so I have no comment on those.
