right, i have cuts up my leg, and it's quite obvious they're self inflicted, because of how many they are, the angles etc etc...

but my PE teacher was being a bitch and decided we were all going to start swimming against next week... how can i hide the cuts when i'm wearing a swimming costume?!?

i cant use the "i'm on my period" excuse, because she keeps track (i know thats kind of creepy :/) and had a go at my mate from another PE group that tried to use that excuse 2 weeks in a row.

i have no reason not to swim, but everyone will see the cuts, and i dont want anyone to know. they'll judge me before they even give me a chance, and then the teacher will probably notice, and she'll tell my parents blah blah blah...

does anyone have any suggestions about what to do?

"Accidently" fall down the stairs. Say your arms really really sore and you can't swim.

Well, just say that you are on your period, she can't make you do it if you are.
Say you forgot your swimming kit.
Get one of your friends to write a note saying that you can't do it.
:) x

Just say you're on your period, she has no way of knowing which weeks you're lying and which you're not.. :)

I have really ireegular periods. I sometimes get ones that do last 2 weeks and sometimes even longer. So she might keep track but she has no way of telling really.

use the excuse i dn't feel wel and go to the nurse and just tell the nurs you have a headache or something and ask to lie down until the class is over for tha day. the period excuse and the falling down stairs excuse will last you longer then the i don't feel wel

I have scars and cuts on my legs, BUT my PE teacher knows I self harm. She told me about wearing pyjama bottoms when your swimming ? I think that was it.

I had the same proble last year, I used the period excuse and the I don't feel well, I had to go the office and I didn't have to do swim. Also you could ask your mum to write a a letter, tell your mum that your legs feel really sore and maybe she wont make you do it.

Good luck.

It depends where they are on your legs. If they're only on your thighs, their are some women's surf shorts that cover your entire thighs. People may think it's weird if you where them on in the pool, but that's what I do if I know I absolutely have to swim. So if your teacher just won't buy it, wear them.

I haven't attended PE at all (unless I wore long sleeves to dodgeball :P) in the six years I've been in high school. I usually make study arrangements with teachers to get out of PE sessions, say for example there's a class you're struggling in ask your teacher to pull you out of PE to go study. you could always forge a parental note, I suggest a concussion for an excuse. It got me out of PE for two months with one note :D you could also just skip class entirely or not bring your kit. You could maybe forge a note saying you have hydrophobia or something.
