Why does Washington D.C. Have to be such a downer sports area? The caps had a 3-1 lead, but NOOOOOOO, we can't win, because the Stanley cup is too heavy for us to pick up, we don't want to hurt ourselves. Does any other Washingtonian sports fan, or caps fan feel the same way?

That is a damned fine question. The Caps had no excuse, they had a lead, the better offesne and the better goaltending. Needless to day, the Caps fucked up. Maybe it's a curse? Sounds like one.

Ya, and to make matters worse, there has been recent buzz about the capitals completely ripping up the team: talkin about firing boudreaux, getting rid of semin and Greene, and completely fucking themselves... I seriously do not wnt to be associated with d.c.

Really? I haven't heard any of that. Dosn't sound like something George Mcphee would do, he's been so good to the Caps. Bruce Bordreau is a great coach, firing him would be a huge mistake, but I just can't see shit like that happening. Where did you hear this stuff? I'd like to look in to it more.

Honestly Semin would be a good player to get rid of. I was once a Washington fan, but that was until I realized that I should route for my home team, the Sabres. I know how you feel about the whole Stanley Cup thing. The Sabres should've gotten passed the Bruins but they didn't. I don't know what happened (Hecht injured probably played a part) but they fell apart. They always have next year, and you gotta remember that.

You just have to understand, the Caps are just now becoming a consistant playoff team. They've never had success like this before, but you just have to wait. You had the best regular season team, and you've got some great players.

I wish my Ducks were half the team the Caps are.

I live in DC but i am a flyers fan i am glad to see those No nothing about hockey only reason i watch is because of OVI fans sad for once
