I think my friend michael is gay. I dont have any problems with gay people, but were good friends and im confused why he wuldnt tell me this. I think i shuld ask him, but idk. What wuld u guys do?

because he might find it tough to tell the people that he is the closest with, what if he tells you and you bash him for it, I am not saying you would, but there are tons of situations like that out there.

maybe ask him a question that might give you the anwser you're looking for. like point out a good looking girl and ask him if he thinks she is hot. or ask him would he ever go out with (girls name here)? or pressure him to ask a girl to dance at a school dance. if he doesnt give you a "straight" anwser, then maybe that is more evidence to his being gay or not. just dont go right out and ask if he is gay.

see the thing is, when i ask him who he likes, he says, "I dont know" then asks me, although he knows i have a gf so its obvious. And he was forced to ask a girl to prom although he didnt want to go at all. Then at the prom dance he didnt even dance with her cus he said she was a hoe, but shes really hot. also, all his friends from hockey call him gay, but idk whats up with him.

I really don't think you should just say "Are you gay?" Because that can be threatening to some people. It's like an accusation like "Did you steal the car?". This is a very delicate matter, that demands the utmost sensitivity, and judging by the way those hockey jerks act, he might really need a friend. I don't know your friend, so the best advice I could give is what you shouldn't do. Only you can decide how to ask him or find out.
