One small red spot on scrotum.

I just noticed a few hours ago a red spot about 2-3mm across near the top of my scrotum, it's not itchy, I'm not sexually active, and it seems benign. But what could it be?

It does look like a flat pimple kinda, of course no pus or anything but it's a red flat spot.
