You're not a " bit bipolar ", you either have it or you don't, & those with bi polar do not have multiple mood swings every day, they stay in one cycle, manic & depressive are the cycles, and they can last for weeks, maybe even months at a time in bi polar.
This sounds like hormones to be honest, but if you're concerned, see a doctor.

Or it could be bi-polar, cycling very quickly. My suggestion, go talk to someone, like a school counciler or trusted teacher. They can help you figure out whether it's serious, or if you're just being a little over cautious.

how old are you? it could easily be hormones.
I have the same thing, once over i wondered if i was bi-polar. but i don't think i am.
best thing to do is to see a doctor as its better to be safe than sorry, or atleast like Alex said, talk to someone.

Bi polar isn't where you cycle quickly daily.
BPD is where you have severe mood swings, but seems to me it's hormones.

You can be a bit bipolar - its called "Bipolar Traits" and those with bipolar can have several mood swings very quickly during the day, your right about the depressive episodes lasting a while...
I dont think you should say it sounds like hormones, because you have no medical right to say that.
and Just to clarify I am diagnosed with Bipolar.
Bi polar isn't where you cycle quickly daily.
BPD is where you have severe mood swings, but seems to me it's hormones.
You cant say that BPD has more severe mood swings, because you are not the person that has either illness, someone with Bipolar, could have severe mood swings, just as bad as someone with BPD.
You are not that person, so you cant clarify whether each individual is feeling worse than the other.

How would you know what illnesses I have?
Don't presume anything about me.
& Bi polar traits wouldn't include severe mood swings throughout the day, I've just looked it up.
You're not very knowledgeable about your own illness, are you?
I have every right to say it sounds like hormones, but I also did say to go see a professional about this too.

well, it does sound just like hormones... i doubt it is bipolar, because like beautifuldisaster said, that disorder tends to be MUCH longer cycles. if it was bipolar, even bi-polar traits, each high and low would last a lot longer than that. i'd say at least a few days at a time.
my mum has bipolar, so i've seen it and i know about this disorder. and it also depends on how old you are. often, the symptoms won't start showing until you are about 16 or 17.
if you still think you should see a professional about it anyway just to make sure, then maybe you should.

Have you been checked for Vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency?
This is a simple blood test that would tell you whether you have it or not (most people do have it, however).
Vitamin D is an essential vitamin produced by your skin from the sun. It is also available in fortified foods like milk. It can also be found in fish and eggs along with other foods.
A VERY COMMON side effect of deficiency of this vitamin is mood swings which can resemble bipolar or similar illnesses. Usually these aren't as severe as bipolar, but they can be if you're severely deficient. Being sufficient in Vitamin D will also make you feel better as a person, less tired, and if you hurt at all...you won't any more.
It is said that about 80% of Americans are vitamin D deficient and many people may have little or no vitamin D...which is scary.
To cure deficiency, spend 15-30 minutes (longer for darker skin) in the sun. If you're unable to get it naturally, take a vitamin D supplement (preferably D3 as it is better absorbed by the body). You can take 2000 IU to 5000 IU daily, even as a healthy non-deficient person.

I was not reffering to the OP I was reffering to yours..
I know Bipolar traits would not include that..
and actually dont assume stuff about me, because I am very knowledgable about my illness I have had it long enough I just dont like plastering it all over the place, about my personal hell..
Thank you very much.
Back to supporting original OP please.

lol, I don't plaster my crap all over the place either if you're indicating as much.
& You're obviously not very knowledgeable, research it, severe mood swings daily are NOT part of bi polar or bi polar traits. They are however part of BPD traits & other MH illnesses, or just plain hormones.
Yes back to the OP now. Jesus.

Please note that hormones (brain chemicals specifically) are what causes bipolar.
Saying it is "hormones" could simply state it is bipolar.
But note that hormones related to the menstrual cycle (like estrogen) can cause drastic mood swings, that are similar to the ones I described above in my vitamin D info above.
lol, I don't plaster my crap all over the place either if you're indicating as much.

Well, I have always asked this question to psychiatrists, and they say it can be part of bipolar. Just because you read and research about mental health illneses, doesn't mean it's correct all the time.

I didnt say they were daily!!You need to read properly. I have had a depressive mood were I have felt dead and dissociated etc for a whole week!
I DONT NEED TO EXPLAIN MYSELF TO SOMEONE THAT DONT EVEN HAVE BIPOLAR!!
Ive had it since I was 17..now 22....
and no I wasnt indicating you plaster yourself all over this website, I was just merly saying I dont like telling people about my hell, because its got nothing to do with anyone else! I was jsut giving my piece of advice to the OP.
God no wonder no one likes you on this forum Beautiful.disaster. Your just rude and arrogant, and obviously think you know everything, just because you have researched them!

If you must argue, please do so elsewhere. The Psychiatric Ward is definitely not a place where public arguments are encouraged, and if anyone continues, they will be infracted.
Thank you for your cooperation!

lol, you sound like someone from another forum psychotic, ah your name suits you. =)
The OP stated they had mood swings daily, you stated that could be bi polar, therefore you're saying that someone with bi polar has mood swings daily = incorrect.
& I don't have to have bi polar to know what it's like & about, thanks.
Nor am I being rude or arrogant, simply stating well known facts, & perhaps you should take a look in the mirror about those two traits.
& many people like me on this forum, the ones that don't, aha, aren't worth it & I'm glad are not in my life. =)
Glad you're doing okay at the moment OP.
