I think there should be something that tells you whether or not you've posted on a thread yet or not.. Because on many occasions I've had to go through many pages of a thread to see if I've posted my thoughts yet (to avoid posting the same thing twice) So there should be something to tell us if we've already offered up our thoughts.

We already have that. Depending on which skin you use there's a special icon beside the thread. For forever blue, it is this:

Also if it's a thread you've posted in and haven't looked back at since, if you click the little down arrow to the left of the title of the thread then it goes to the latest post you haven't read.

I don't know if you're aware of that, it's useful though.
