I felt my balls earlier and they felt different then normal. The end of the left feels like there's something there. Is this normal? And if it isn't how do I tell my parents to let me see a doctor.

well it depends. on one or both. If its both it could just be the epididymis (i reckon this is the right answer freaked the hell out of me when i found it too). If on one (could even Rarely be both) it could be testicular cancer (but dont freak out). If it really worries you go see the doctor. Dont be embarrased, there doctors they've seen it ALL before.
By the way heres a diagram to see the epididymis http://www.easysnip.com/img/info-diagram.jpg

It might be an Inguinal Hernia. I only infer this because I had one. You might want to see a doctor for further analysis.

An inguinial Hernia is where part of your intestine goes into your scrotum or pubic region. It could have been caused by heavy lifting. The only way it can be helped is surgery, but this doesn't guarantee that you have one. It could be nothing. You should calmly tell your parents that something isn't right (down there) and that you need a doctor.

Your lump could be totally harmless, but for those kind of things they should always be checked out. It really is a lot easier than you think approaching parents about this issue. If your Father lives with you, then simply tell him that you felt a lump on your testicle and that you want it checked out. My experience has been such that the parent does not give a hard time at all, and they will make an appointment without question. Your parents want the best for you, and the reality is that catching problems early is so much better than later. Just think of your issue as getting a really bad cut or something like that. If you tell your parents about this issue, then they know you trust them, and they will be all right unless they are abnormal in some way.
To answer your question directly, go up to your Father and say you found a bump you want checked out. If you live with your Mum, then say the same thing. After all, parents get the same problem and they get checked out; why can't you?

Check with a doc. Don't worry but just to be safe, have checked. Tell mom u would like to see the doc about something and if you don't want to go into it, just say it's something private between you and him.

I agreee with pontiacdriver, it could be harmless, but it would pay to get it checked out.
