Ehh, There's no exact remedy.

It's one of the worst things to get rid of, so be prepared for a long journey. First of all, you need to avoid the person who broke your heart. You don't have to be rude about it or anything, but if you see her heading your way just casually walk in the other direction. Think about her as little as possible, and don't be afraid to explore other possibilities with other girls (Trust me, if you find someone else you like, it makes it ALOT easier)

Try to be with your friends as much as you can; that's what I'm doing. My friends make me feel tons better about the breakup I recently had. I really hope you feel better, and it's probably the last thing you want to hear but you WILL find someone who will try their damnedest not to hurt you. <3 stay strong =]

Yes, time heals many things, including a broken heart. But you also have to assure yourself that you'll be ok without him/her.

I know it's tough being broken up with, and yeah, it hurts.

Here are what I have found to be the best ways to deal with it:

1) Watch TV- Drowning your sadness out with comedy usually distracts you

2) Talk to people about it- Talk to your parents or your friends and vent.

3) Go out- Do things that you enjoy doing, play sports, go to the movies, ect.

4) If necissary, cry- Don't hold in your emotions, if you feel you need to cry, just do it. It does help.

Good luck, hope you feel better soon.

Try to be with friends and avoid staying alone. Whether it be online friends or friends in real life. Just try to talk to someone.

Do some things that can distract you from thinking about him/her, like listening to music ( Just make sure not to listen to music that could remind you of him/her ) Play a game, anything

Get out of the house. Go to the mall, go for a walk, anything really. Invite friends too!

Let your emotions out. Keeping them bottled up won't help anything. If you feel like you need to cry, then cry. It helps alot.

Find somebody else. If you think you're ready to start dating again, try to find someone else, someone you know you'll be with for a long time and will have a healthy relationship with.

Losing a normal spouse: It just rolls off my back, maybe a day of sadness but it goes away.

Losing a Master: Intense depression. It takes me a while, but eventually the want for someone else gets me back up on my feet again.

Typically in the past I would never let myself like anyone enough for that to happen... So I've never really had that happen to me..
