Hey, I was woundering, eariler today I downloaded openoffice as a writing application because I don't have microsoft word. But do you think theres a writing program out there better? For free of course? I just want something that will give me lots of options. I write quite a bit.

Well the only thing I know of other than word.. that is free... is open office.. It's pretty good. You'll be fine.

Are you looking for a full office suite or just a word processor. I can reccomend AbiWord if you want a word processor. I use it on Linux (or OO.o) and it rocks. http://www.abisource.com/

Open Office is a great free alternative to Word or Corel. :D
For some reason, my brother installed AbiWord, but I'm not quite sure why considering we already have several word processing applications. :what:
