2 hearts beat together.
if the other falters
the other unconsciously
takes the hit
racing. electrocuted.
both give out.
silver like the morning before the sun.
shining. burning.
encased in it.
the flames lapping at your face,
leaving eternal scars.
a reminder of that night,
when they took your mind.
the fireflies dance.
they outline your dreams.
suddenly, it changes.
everything is fading out.
the voices still clear.
ringing in your ears.
the angelic voices sing a lullaby,
drifting you to sleep
I'm not sure how good it is, but I try.
I've written about 115-125 things like this... I just hope they're worth something, you know?
