Is there a point at which you no longer have to wait 30 seconds to search?

This becomes so annoying and this is like one of the only forums I've ever seen use this...

Like I click new posts once...I can't refresh it for 30 seconds...I also cannot view more posts by anyone (by clicking their name and then the drop down menu) during that 30 seconds, either...

It's not a big deal, but I'm really just wondering is there like a number of posts you get to, a duration on the site, or anything else that may get rid of the 30 second break?

Searching uses up a lot of server resources so it is necessary to require 30 seconds between searches otherwise it tends to bog down the server load. If we did allow unlimited searching, then if a lot of people starting searching at once or multiple times then no doubt it will take longer than 30 seconds to load a page.

Become a staff member and the number decreases also since we search peoples posts and lots of other things all the time.

Otherwise the limit is in place to reduce server load.
Its 30 seconds, just wait...in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter much

Maybe that's why I don't experience it on the other forums...hmm...
