Click the light switch, snuff the candles.
Sink into the darkness, away from scandals.
Sometimes anger terrifies, do you see?
Your eyes are pure venom, your lips chirp free,
Throwing insult after insult back to me.

I want to have the ultimate feeling, away from you.
It upsets and annoys me that what you say is true.
Your outrage, it finds its way into my personality
Plunging in- it is now filled with animosity.
But I want to be free. Oh what a possibility.

My head hits the pillow and my eyes close.
One day, I’ll manage more than an uneasy doze.
I need you to hear me, in the darkness, so undefined.
I like the way the light falls on the mirror, it shines.
Eliminating threats, your hatred never finds

Me hidden in the corner, away from everything,
The shattered hearts to the birds that sing.
I kind of just really want you to see
The terrific pain you are causing me.
And maybe, it is your turn to be set free.


A poem I wrote a while ago to express my feelings of, just, everything...
I like it, not too sure if it is particularly good but it has personal meaning I suppose.
