No fooling it messes with your mind, and he uses like, almost as a threat, it's implied. It's like he ask me to do something and he won't say anything but I know if I don't do it or forget to, I might or sometimes might not get the silent treatment, more times its I do get it. Later I'll say somthing and he will say I am not talking to you because bla bla bla. He never yells, or gets angry, or smacked us ever, but you can see it in his eyes.

Hey, when I was a kid, I was spanked when I did something bad. The silent treatment is like meditation about your actions, it helps you learn what you did wrong without getting a red hand mark on your ass. It's better, trust me.

Just try not to do things wrong, follow his rules, and you never have to be punished. It's simple.

I never got the silent treatment on purpose, I always got yelled out hit. xD But anyways it was always quiet when i was young. :P so you just get used to it when everyone is just too busy ...
