Env3 T9 Dictionary

Does anyone know how to add words to the Env3's T9 Word dictionary???

For most LG phones the method to add words to the T9 dictionary is:

1. mode: Abc
2. type the word you want to add
3. mode: Word
4. insert a <space>

I've heard Env3 has a problem with adding words so I don't know if this will work but I hope it does.
