Does anybody want to have a military career?
What career do you want?

I am currently in the DEP for the US Army. I will be training to become a Technical Engineer [Produce drafts and drawings for construction in buildings, roads, bridges, airports, etc. Draw maps for tactical units.]
I have a 5year enlistment and plan to re-enlist after my duty is up. I am considering to stay in for 20 yearsand retire at 38 and become an Architect afterwards.

What are your thoughts?

I did want to be in the British Army however after I've seen about a 1/4 of my family fight in a war they don't believe in I've decided against it.

I was going to go into the Royal Military Police (RMP) who are essentially the police of the British army and are known to be one of the most hated regiments because of there control over the army.

I also considered army logistics and heavy gunner.

Now one of the possible careers I wish to go into is the normal police then possibly rise up to the ranks of armed police.

If I joined the Armed Forces, I would join the US Navy as an Officer.

My preferred would be in Naval Intelligence. If not that, then Surface Warfare so I can work my way up and maybe commanded my own ship.

I would join the Air Force and go in as either a fighter pilot, SAR pilot or pararescuer.
