My friend will be naked Bill.
My other best friend will be named Jessica.

Anyway, Bill and I have been friends for a year now. Jessica joined in mid last year. So, last year I had a relationship with Jessica. We broke up, and then Bill went out with Jessica. They are still going out today. Lately, I have been interacting with Jessica. I have been touching her (Like friends do. Not in a sexual way) and Bill believes I still like her. He now hates me, and I can't get him to believe that everything I did, was NOT performed in a romantic way. Jessica is on my side. She doesn't know whats wrong with him. I have told him that I love somebody else now. He doesn't believe me. He thinks she is part of a plan to steal Jessica from me.

I don't know how to explain to him. He is my best friend and I don't know what to do. He doesn't trust me, because I did nothing wrong at all. I dont want to fight, but it seems he does. Jessica is getting scared that Bill and I will just break up as friends, and so am I. I am getting to a point when I just feel like there is no way to solve it. He doesn't believe Jessica or me.

Please, somebody help me!

Tricky situation!!!

Try asking him what exactly is giving him the impression that he suspects you like Jessica. I think he's simply insecure about his current relationship with her and he sees your good friendship with her as a potential threat. I say both you AND Jessica should sit down with Bill and say something like, "Look bill, we both know how you feel about me, and that really concerns me because as your good friend, I wouldn't want you to feel like I was encroaching upon your relationship. I have a tremendous amount of respect for you and Jessica, and you need to trust me as a friend when I say I am NOT interested in Jessica. I honestly have moved on and found someone I like, etc etc"

Thanks for the help. I might try it. It is quite funny when we use Jessica and Bill (that isnt their real names)
