Okay My Dad Does Not Comprehend This

Idk If This Is Where This Goes Knowing My Luck It Isnt But Okay This Morning I Was On The Family Computer Not My Laptop And I Went Through The History For The Net And There Was All This Stuff About Teen Intervention And Alcoholic Teens And Teens On Drugs Searching For Warning Signs And He Basically Thinks Im On Drugs And Ive Told Him So Many Times That Im Not Doing Any Of That Stuff I Have No Desire To I Mean Every Now And Then I Will Drink Not Often The Last Time I Drank Was New Years And I Dont Do Drugs And I Keep Telling Him And The Only Reason He Suspects It Is Cuz My Hair Is Blue And I Have Piercings And Basically Im Not Up To His Familys Standards Ajd Its Starting To Piss Me Off Ive Even Taken One Of These Tests You Can Get At Walmart To Prove To Him(I Went And Just Bought It And Showed Him To Ease His Mind) But Im Just Getting Sick Of This I Mean Just Because I Have Piercings Tattoos And Blue Hair And Wear Skinny Jeans(he Says All That Is Warning Signs For Cops To Pick You Up) Does Thats Honestly Mean Im On Anything I Understand He Cares But He Needs To Realize Im 18 Me Staying Out With My Friends Doesnt Mean Anything Useually Im The Responcible 1 So Any Advice On How To Get My Point Through My Dads Head

Why don't you have a sit down heart to heart talk with him. Ask him again why he thinks your on drugs and let him talk and when he's finished you give your point of view. Bring up to him that doing drugs Isn't something you want to do. Explain that your style of attire Is chosen by you not because your on drugs and are wreck less. Tell him that you love him,but this Is your way of life and that your 18 now and freedom comes with age and that you aren't doing anything to hurt him.
