I am really curious about shisha, i was wondering is it bad for you?
and what are the effects and does it taste good?

It's not harmless. Many people believe it to do the person less damage than smoking, but this isn't the case. Its been proven that it does the same amount of damage as cigarettes can do you. Each time you have a shisha session, you're inhaling about 70x the amount of nicotine and 100-200x the smoke in a cigarette. So, in smoking this the effects are probably the same as smoking. Chest infections, Pneumonia and Bronchitis. You'll be more susceptible to gum cancer and the possibility of lung cancer is still looming. I would imagine the taste would be similar to a cigarette, but as the smoke etc is dampened down by the water it wouldn't be as potent.

I agree pretty much with Aaron; no form of smoking is ever harmless and I can understand why you would be inhaling so much more smoke than you would from one cigarrette.

The alternative to smoking the standard 'molasses' is to smoke a herbal substitute in the shisha.

Any form of smoking for you is bad though, you'll be breathing in a hell of a lot of ash whatever you smoke.
