He wanted to run
He ran so far
He wanted to fly
Oh, he went high
He wanted to scream
So, so very loud it seems

They loved him dearly
Their support was all to him
Helping him run that far
They lifted him up to fly
Louder they asked his scream

He know he was loved
He could do anything
Support was with him
All this long time
Never ever ending

So he kept running
Flying higher each day
Yelling louder the whole way
Everything he ever wanted
All of it was his
Nothing he’d ever felt
Would be better than this

But now he wanted something new
Something he wasn’t sure he could choose
Their support was strong, very strong
Though, could wanting this thing be wrong?

You see, this boy, he’s our age now
Experiencing new things today
That before, he’d never known about

Want did he want so bad?
Why was it all so new?
How could it seem to be wrong?

That was really nice and beautiful. The bit about flying higher and higher then having doubts kinda made me think of Iccarus :D I loved it :)
