i hope not. the first one was ok, but the second one wAs just crap. the graphics and physics sucked for both and the supossed "most photorealism seen" is comepletely false. not to mention the fact that they have no cheat protection, i was able to right a wallhack with norecoil, nospread, +range and it still isnt detected as well as a auto-fast shoot. TBH eventhough my engines physic's still needs a long way to go, my renedering is far more realistic, -skeletal animation until physics is done, and has way more cababilities than Infinties "propietary engine' which i believe is actually based on ID's commecial IDTech3 (not ioQuake3, thats the noncommercial free version).

Halo is brilliant. And I hate the XBox. So for me to like it is pretty amazing.... Halo Reach is gonna be good. Might buy it for PC...

What. Did. You. Say? Halo is amazing. Especially the multi-player. You have all types of variations on games. You have to have a strategy, you have to have some decent skills (aim, nade throws, jump, etc.) You stand a chance if you are being shot from someone to turn around and have a decent chance on walking out with one more kill on your score.

look i'm a game developer, i've gone to e3 multiple times, i've worked with bungies engine for halo. the engine is ok but is far under taken. the graphics has good rendering, but is under antiAliased, and postprocessing is undone using only 1 pass. game content and story is very repetitive as is the AI, concepts, and gameplay.

Praise the Lord.
I barely play the game anymore but I'm glad to see good old first person Team Tactical make a comeback - that was a proper team based game mode.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 ftw :)

bioshock series, mass effect series (based on Unreal 3), Aliance of Valiant Arms (Unreal 3 based), the hunted chronicles (me in developement colaboration with chriss page), xonotic/nexuiz (alientrap.org), Postal series (propietary, unreal2, unreal3), Gemini Device( expect tech demobin a few months, i need to realias some code and make higher quality content first), and many others for example.

To Aves: I wasn't basing the criticism on the engine but how repetitive the concepts, gameplay, and content is.

We aren't basing what a better game is off the game engine or whatever, but how they pull it off.

I wouldn't count on MW3 not sucking, Infinity Ward is hemorrhaging long-term employees right now.

Treyarch is also coming out with a new CoD game. They're doing to call of duty what they did to guitar hero.

I used to boost on third person cage match but they deleted it.

irony of it is cage match wouldve been the answer to nuke boosters, all theyd need to do is add that limit to 26 or something so people could get nukes in there instead off FFA

and really i dont se why people blame IW, they added features to improve play, hell the tactical insertion is an amazing piece of equiptment when your lmg'in and trying to keep a team in one spot,
ITs the COMMUNITY that fuck the game up not the creators now since all the glitches are solved as far as i know

well from where the story left off, Soap and Price along with Nicolai are going to be doing alot of squatting, sitting on their asses in that safehouse in hamburg. just the usual having to lay low from NATO, you know.

MW2 gets too repetetive with all the campers....i cant wait for MW3 though

In my honest opinion, I think that MW3 will be just as bad (if not worse) than MW2. The more features they add to improve the game, the more the community that play the game will abuse it.

It doesn't matter what they add, somebody somewhere will find a way to use it to their advantage that isn't in the spirit of the game.

I dont see why people complain about campers. It's a strategy. If somebody wants to get a nuke chances are running out in the middle of the battlefield wont do them any good.

As for abusing the game, oh well. Some call is abusing, others call it a strategy.
If you can't beat them, join them.

I just hope they add some more features in MW3. Maybe customizable online characters? Or different knifes? Like a quick knife that knifes fast but has short range and a long knife that has a longer range but retracts slow. Theres so many possibilities on what they can do. It would be pretty badass if they could make a multilayer map where you're underwater :P
