It is nothing but festering filth in there, nothing but talk about porn, shit, and other unmentionable things...
Shouldn't there be better moderation on it? By mature enough people to know when it's getting out of hand? Honestly...

Moderators would be a good idea...

But ensure you get mods from around the world...to make sure there is most likely someone on there...

In the interests of balance I think its only fair to say that I dont recognise your description of the chat room as "nothing but festering filth". I'm quite often in the chat room and its not like that in my experience, so either your on at a different time of day or you've just been unlucky. I'm not doubting that it happens sometimes or suggesting that more moderation might not be a good idea, just that any new comers to the site might pick up a bad impression from such a sweeping condemnation.

In the mean time if you experience chat that you think is outside the limits you already have the option of reporting it to a moderator or admin.

I'm the same as Nick with this, I know it does happen. I have seen it a few times, however most of the time that I'm - it's fine and people are just having lighthearted fun.

I know what you walked into, and we were in the process of counter-trolling a troll. Sure that's not the best way to handle it but he left and hasn't come back yet.

It's not like it's a constant hellhole of no return. I mean, when I'm in there, it's not like everyone is talking about porn and jacking off and all that shit, people are just starting pointless arguments. It's not that bad, unless you just caught one bad conversation with a sex-crazed maniac, which you can report if it happens.

This is an example of what not to do. If you have a problem, please get a screen shot of what is going on and send it to a staff member and they will take care of the issue. We realize that there are people who abuse the chat, but there are ways to take care of it.
