The STD which comes to mind which causes extreme pain when urinating and/or ejaculating is gonnorhea (sp?).

As mentioned above, you cannot get a STD from masturbation as you need to have sex in order to contract a STD.

My guess is that you simply had urethritis which is a common infection of the urethra. Clearly, if you are still having that problem, then you need to seek medical attention as it takes prescription drugs to clear out the problem.

OK...I know exactly what you are talking about and everything else mentioned in this post is NOT related to the most likely cause.

Whenever you masturbate, the valve "changes". The urethra switches from carrying urine to carrying sperm and semen. This is why it is IMPOSSIBLE to have an orgasm and pee at the same time. The name of the switching process I have forgotten...and the sphincter that makes the change I have also forgotten its name...

Once you ejaculate, it may be hard to pee temporarily and may sometimes be painful.

The initials VD stand for Venereal Disease, its not one specific thing its a generic term for sexually transmitted diseases, what are now called STDs, like syhpilis and gonorrhea. You can not give yourself one of these by wanking.
