I completed it the other day and I must say it is the best game of 2010 so far, I highly recommend it to everyone who likes gaming, the story is great, the graphics are great except from some minor bugs now and then and I have fell in love with it. I cannot wait for the second to come out :)

first time i heard the cougar growl in the distance i was like whoa... then next thing i know it just F'in jumps on ya out of damn nowhere and you just shite yourself!!!! :P

just finished it literally about 5mins ago, really good ending for me made up for the staleness

Well it was made by the same people, so I'm not really surprised it looks the same. I actually think that it's better than most aspects of GTA4.

ACII was fantastic, but I think they're milkin' it for money because Ubisoft is lacking in sales, lol. I'd rather wait for ACIII then ACII with multiplayer, lol. That's all ACB is really. Anyway, back on topic. :P RDR will get GOTY, unless Medal of Honor rocks the house, lol. Either that or Mass Effect 2.

I do not own the game for the fact it isn't amazing. And they didn't raise the bar. There's nothing new and revolutionary. It's the same as the first one, except for new guns and other such things. It did nothing new.

Modern warfare 2 has better graphics and a very good modern apocalypse styled story rather than NATO just chasing some nooby terrorists around the place. you cannot deny that the MW2 story had more epic moments that made your jaw drop that "this" was in a game than cod4.

i will agree with you in saying the story was rather all over the place but think of it more as a really bad director being told to make a brilliant blockbuster and handed a big bag of money estimating of around £500,000,000 that is what MW2 is, nothing new, loose plot, but a hell of alot of nice SFX and in a game that's what the target audience wants :rolleyes:

oh and the reason they went to brazil was to find the dealer that Makarov ordered their guns from for the Airport Massacre, that way the U.S government would have someone to stand up for them in the U.N courts (as you heard Cpt. Mc Tavish say "in the eyes of the world theye're the victims, and wont do anything when the Russians club every American they can find." and reveil evidence like money transfers from accounts etc. that way they could get the likes of NATO back on their side and help control or rationalise with the Russians that they where simply trying to stop the terrorists.

Now with the US invasion i too am very sceptical of how they pulled this off. it's supposed to be that the snow mission with Soap and Roache at the start where the two are trying to recover a downed ACS module, i'm assuming that the reason was because the Russians could hack into this and discover the important codes for the whole nations digital defence network thus fuking up their radars. this is how the Russians took their chance to send "birds" successfully into US airspace and invade. the whole thing seems very odd and would have to have some rather retarted people not to manually spot a large force in the thousands traverssing all the way more or less half way around the globs.
for starters before the Virginia mission you hear a distress call from a guy on the East Coast, how would the Russians be able to send such a vast invasion force and not alert the European Union (the world may have been appauled by what they assume the American army has done to Moscows main airport but still they would at least go pick up the phone." the Russians would also have to use money they do not actually own to put such an operation into activation in such a short time and still have enough resources to continue their campaign once they had crossed the Atlantic/Pacific oceans.

so anyway loose story + kick ass special effects = the most successful video game of all time. Modern Warfare 2 (now lets get back to Red Dead Redemption cus this thread will seriously be locked otherwise :D)
