That's beautiful hun. It really Is! If you think you need to work on certain things remember there are always things to improve on, but along the road you will draw a beauty like this. Nice job :)

Noted and as such its quite a composition. :)
Very well put together IMO.
And "faces" all depends on your art style. Wether you plan to draw realistic figures or more of a Manga/Anime style. :P

The first step is to learn how to draw eyes. Yes, they are the thing that decides on how the faces looks like.

Take your time and learn to draw the eye, then the nose, then the mouth. Till you get your face right. It may take weeks, sometimes months. Practice makes perfect.
Use reference, use tuts.

The facial structure will come automatically, after you have perfected the five features of the face.

Also, again depends on how you like to draw your characters.

If you want to draw like Manga/Anime character, then I have tons of reference and tuts links just for you. From Deviant and from all around the net.

Personally I prefer video tutorials over deviant. Deviant works great to be honest.
A great video tut source for manga style: http://www.youtube.com/user/markcrilley

I actually use the nose first.

If you can draw a good nose first, it lays down where everything else is going to be in relation to the center point. The eyes are on either side of the nose, and the mouth is right under it, and plus the nose is pretty much the center of the face anyway.

I have to get more face shots up in my art topic. If youi want a sort of tutorial on how to draw a realistic-type face i know how to do that to some extent.

(they dont look like portraits but the faces i draw could be put on real people if you added in some shading and a bit more creases and wrinkles)
