I usually wear boxers in the locker room and dont strip. Does anyone else strip in front of people or is that awkward? Also do your wear boxers or like briefs i like wearing briefs but i just wear boxers because everone else does and when i wear briefs and gives me a big bulge and I dont know how people will react if they see it.

But if you like briefs, then go for it. If someone does notice your bulge, they wouldn't laugh or anything. Some might even be jealous. If you have a big bulge that just means you have a big package. Something to show off.

IDk what grade you are in, but by the time you hit highschool. Not one cares what type of underwear you wear. Someone might say something maybe once or twice a year if it is something different, but no one really cares. Especially with briefs since they aren't a thong or something. By highschool, people begin to realize that it is just underwear and people should wear what is comfortable to them and makes them feel good.

I usually agree about the swimming thing.

It is unheard of not to strip if we're doing a swimming activity. You're miserable for the rest of the day if you don't. Everyone strips and most people are manly enough to not cover themselves up.

On top of that, most of us shower naked.

We all have the same package. Why does it make a difference whether we're naked or not?

It really depends upon what you do for your gym class and whether showers are mandatory. My experience has been that everyone had to strip to take a shower, and it really is not a big deal at all. Especially in gym class with folks kind of moving fast to get ready for their next class most people have other things on their mind rather than checking out each other. Basically, if you act non-chalent about stripping, then no one will pay any attention. Nudity is really not a big deal, and I have noticed that guys who are really confident about their bodies tend not to have much, if any, trouble in the locker room.

You should wear whatever underwear makes you comfortable. All because a lot of guys wear boxers does not mean it is the only type of underwear which is proper as briefs are just as good. Because nearly everyone is probably getting ready for their next class they really are not going to be paying too much attention to each other's underwear. Also, getting an erection is a natural part of being a guy, especially in puberty, and all because you get a boner doesn't equate you are sexually aroused with those around you.


My advice is just don't mind anyone around you, and pretend you are at your shower at home. Especially if folks know they cannot get to you, then they do not mess with you.
