I thought it would more appropriate to post here, and i didn't find something similar to this so...


When i pop a zit, puss of course comes and so does blood. Is blood supposed to come out?

As far as I know it's completely normal. It's just part and parcel of popping pimples. If you're doing it right however there should only be a tiny amount of blood, if any.

Blood is definitely supposed to come out when a zit is popped as bear in mind that capillaries to help feed them.

While this is not part of your question my strong suggestion to you is not to pop zits. You can end up scarring your face which you really do not want to do. Simply using an over-the-counter facial wash can go a long way to alleviating your problem. If you are a man on a budget using something as simple as rubbing alcohol to clean your face daily is another way to reduce acne. You do not want to end up exposing your face to further infection, and cleaning your face daily is the best way to reduce your problems.

Finally, do not be self conscious about acne as nearly everyone gets it. Even those with severe acne (impegnito - sp?) usually end up fine in the end, and zits are just a fact of life for teens.
